Keith Cunningham Focuses On Improving Radio’s Talent
Jacobs Media Consultant Adds New Title And Duties

Jacobs Media consultant Keith Cunningham has added the title of "Morning Show and Talent Development Specialist." While continuing to consult Jacobs Media radio clients, Keith will work closely with morning shows and other air personalities to develop their skills, approaches, and ratings successes.

"Keith really understands what it takes to be a great air personality," Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs comments. "He has been working with some of our clients over the past several months, and the feedback and results have been strong. He understands show prep, talent management, roles, how to establish the right mindset, and how to tune into the culture to craft a topical, successful program. Now it’s time to recognize that Keith provides something that radio sorely needs – a talent development specialist that can move the needle. His services will be available on a fee basis to Jacobs Media clients."

"With the departure of Howard Stern, there’s a void in the radio industry that needs to be filled," says Cunningham. "I subscribe to the theory that, along with playing the right music, personality development and generating non-music content sit at ground-zero in radio’s fight for consumer usage time. To that end, I hear a lot of talented personalities and morning shows that can quickly be taken to the next level with some simple coaching. Developing talent and creating great content for the audience is a passion of mine, and I’m looking forward to getting up early to listen to our morning shows and see how they’re progressing."

Keith Cunningham has been consulting radio stations and their morning shows for the past six years. Prior to joining Jacobs Media in late 2005, he ran his own consulting firm, Media Positioning. Keith is a radio veteran who has programmed or brand managed all the rock formats in various markets, including Los Angeles and San Francisco.
