About Sign-In *Please Read This If This is Your First Time To Sign-In! Welcome to Jacobs Media's Website. The Client area is just that -- for our clients. You MUST have a username and password (which we have already provided to you) in order to sign in. There are a couple of things you need to know: YOU MUST REDUCE YOUR SECURITY LEVEL TO ACCEPT COOKIES BEFORE YOU SIGN-IN FOR THE FIRST TIME. -This doesn't mean that you have to turn off all security - just set your browsers security to AT LEAST the level that, while accepting cookies, will still notify you of them and allow you the option of accepting them -- YOU MUST accept a cookie in order to sign in to our site, both initially and in future visits. Click HERE for more information about cookies and instructions on setting your browser. -Please be certain that you security levels for you software (IE, Netscape, AOL) is not set to MAXIMUM -- we will not be able to communicate back and forth with your machine and the logon process WILL FAIL -- and you will not be able to sign-in again, even if you drop your security level. You will need to call our office and be re-assigned a new password. -The sign-in is MACHINE specific. Be certain you are logging in for the first time on your PRIMARY machine AND browser -- you will only be able to access our site from the computer and with the browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, AOL) that you INITIALLY sign-in with. -Your username and password are CASE SENSITIVE -- AND there is NO space between your first and last names. -If you sign-in on the wrong computer (or using a different browser than you initially used) you will receive an error message. -If you change computers, switch browsers (i.e. leave AOL for an ISP, or switch from IE to Netscape), you will need to contact our office. We will have to give you a new password -- it WILL void out the old password and access will be lost from your previous machine or browser. Your username and password are CASE SENSITIVE -- AND there is NO space between your first and last names. If you can't log-in, and you are SURE you are using the correct username/password -- be certain you are using the computer/browser you intially logged in with. If you have a problem during INITIAL sign-in (your very FIRST time you try to access our client areas), you may need to contact our office for a new password. If you do not gain IMMEDIATE access on your first try, the security system will assume you are trying to break-in during future attempts, and will not allow you entry -- even with a correct username/password. I got in! -- but now it says "Access Denied" when I try to go to other Client Area Pages: If you've successfully signed into the site, but are idle for more than 30 minutes, you WILL BE LOGGED OUT.
