Since the presentation, we have heard from several programmers about our “Texting While Driving” segment. When we were conducting the interviews, a number of respondents mentioned Oprah Winfrey’s “No Phone Zone Pledge.” It resonated in several of these interviews, and for attendees at “The Radio Show.”
It provides an opportunity for a 7th action step on the above “To-Do List” – creating your own localized version of this campaign, utilizing the power of a morning show or a personality who can make this type of initiative personal and genuine.
Goin' Mobile - Goin' To School On Mobile
We received a great deal of feedback on “Goin’ Mobile,” our new ethnographic collaboration with Arbitron that had its debut at The NAB/RAB Radio Show. The presentation at The Radio Show wrapped up with a list of six “to-do” items for radio. The first of these was “Go to school on mobile.” In this article we feature some great resources for honing your mobile IQ.
